A story of a little girl, Shiloh, who flies away on imaginary adventures in the sky, mounted on her magical steed, who by day is her plush, talking toy horse.

He leads her on many magical trips where she is safe and he tells her that she can practice using her voice to protect herself from her father in the night. She learns how to tell and that she’s not to blame for the abuse.

Ebony Dancer is a magical, yet realistically hopeful story that provides abused children with something tangible to take away: beautiful, plush toy and the empowerment to speak and be heard!
